Onshore wind and solar
We are the world’s fourth-largest wind energy producer and a global leader in onshore wind farms and have been developing efforts to grow in solar PV technology. We entered the UK onshore market with a wind and solar energy portfolio of 544 MW.
Storage
EDPR entered the storage market in Europe with two first standalone Battery Storage Systems (BESS) projects in Europe based in the UK and now has started the construction of one of its own in this region.
Offshore
Offshore
A floating wind farm uses turbines on sea-based structures to generate electricity in deep waters. Through Ocean Winds, our 50/50 joint venture with Engie, we are advancing offshore wind technology to harness these resources effectively.
