EDP: A Key Player in Spain's Energy Generation

9th September 1917. Somiedo, Asturias. A day and a place that define our origins in Spain, with the commissioning of La Malva hydroelectric power station, which after more than a century continues producing electricity as if it were the very first day. Today, we are one of the main power generators in Spain, using a range of technologies that play a decisive role in covering the demand for electricity, always under the premises of flexibility and operational excellence.
