Alfeite Naval Base - 2019
The annual EDP Labelec meeting took place this year at the Alfeite Naval Base.
EDP Labelec presented the company's annual results and some relevant ongoing projects were showcased:
- Development of Power Transformer Health Index Matrix;
- On-site water quality monitoring - multiparametric probes;
- Integration of Renewable Production into the grid;
- New SmartLab Laboratory – Substation Automation System;
The year 2018 had a positive net result, business volume exceeded 15 million euros, higher than that recorded in 2017 and an EBITDA of 2.3 million euros.
For Engineer Vítor Tomás, administrator of EDP Labelec, the results were positive and the objectives achieved. However, it is intended to increase the provision of services by around 3% for the next year.
“Only zero is satisfactory in terms of accidents” was one of the slogans in the teambuilding activities, carried out by around 120 employees, to better prepare for possible workplace accidents.
