Bank of America changes qualified shareholding in EDP

Lisbon, May 11th, 2022: Pursuant to the terms and for the purposes of articles 16 and 17 of the Portuguese Securities Code, EDP - Energias de Portugal, S.A. (EDP) is providing the following information:
On May 9th, 2022, Bank of America Corporation notified that it had increased its shareholding in EDP’s share capital to 5.325%. The 5% threshold was crossed by such company on May 4th, 2022 (Annex I).
On May 10th, 2022, Bank of America Corporation notified that it had decreased its shareholding in EDP’s share capital to 0.255%. The 5% threshold was crossed by such company on May 5th, 2022 (Annex II).
Information regarding the chain of controlled undertakings and voting rights is disclosed in the attachment.
