EDP clarifies its position regarding the press news about a possible acquisition of Sunseap

Lisbon, October 26th, 2021: EDP - Energias de Portugal, S.A. (“EDP”), Business plan 2021-25 has a 20 GW growth target and therefore EDP is constantly looking for growth opportunities in the different regions.

In relation to the news circulated in the press regarding the possible acquisition of Sunseap, EDP hereby clarifies that it has not concluded any negotiation nor signed any agreement to acquire Sunseap.

As usual, EDP will inform the market in due course if and when it reaches a binding agreement in relation to any material transaction.

This information is disclosed pursuant to the terms and for the purposes of the article 17 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council and of article 248-A of the Portuguese Securities code.
