Pursuant to the terms and for the purposes of the article 17 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council and of article 248-A of the Portuguese Securities code, EDP - Energias de Portugal, S.A. (“EDP”) is providing the following information to the market:



EDP is focused on delivering value for its shareholders, customers, employees and all remaining stakeholders. As such, we appreciate Elliott’s contribution and will carefully consider their proposals, as we do in the ordinary course for all shareholders.



As previously announced, EDP will be providing a strategic update to the market in connection with the release of the group’s 2018 results on 12th March 2019.
