Pursuant to the terms and for the purposes of article 248-B of the Portuguese Securities code and article 14 of the Portuguese Securities Commission Regulation no. 5/2008, EDP - Energias de Portugal SA ("EDP") provides the following information to the market:
Mr. João Carlos Carvalho das Neves, member of EDP's General and Supervisory Board ("GSB"), informed EDP that, on the present date, he has acquired 3,200 shares of EDP Renováveis SA ("EDPR") share capital, at a price of 6.92 euros per share.
Moreover, EDP informs that, after the above-mentioned acquisition, Mr. João Carlos Carvalho das Neves holds 3,200 shares of EDPR's share capital.
