Resignation of members of the general supervisory board and new representatives

In accordance of subparagraph a) of Article 3 of the CMVM Regulation 5/2008, EDP – Energias de Portugal, S.A. hereby informs that the representatives in the General and Supervisory Board of China Three Gorges Corporation, Yang Ya, China Three Gorges International Corp., Dingming Zhang, and China Three Gorges (Europe), S.A., Shengliang Wu, have presented their resignation.

In their replacement, China Three Gorges Corporation, China Three Gorges International Corp. and China Three Gorges (Europe) appointed as representatives to exercise the office on their own behalf, the individuals listed on the attached file.

EDP will now begin the registration process at the Commercial Registry Office.
