EDP presents competitive offers for all families with new campaign

In effect, there are also other alternatives to reduce the monthly bill. With this movement, EDP aims to strengthen its leadership in the electricity market by offering the most competitive tariffs to Portuguese families without compromising service quality.

Among the available options, besides the 15% reduction in the price per kWh for one year, there is now also the option to have a 30% monthly discount on the contracted power, for example, for new customers with lower consumption or for second homes. EDP also maintains the recent offer of a total discount of €50 on the electricity bill for digital contracts, which can reach €60 for those who opt for green electricity and natural gas. 

With this campaign, EDP intends to be the trusted energy partner of those who are still not customers of the company, or even those who were and want to return, joining the more than three million families that bet on the quality of service and the competitive price of EDP, which, since January 1, implemented an average 7% reduction in the monthly bill. 

EDP believes that the energy transition will only be possible if families and companies are part of this movement. Therefore, it has sought to lead the market with innovative solutions that allow for more sustainable and efficient choices, such as electricity offers adjusted to different customer profiles.

EDP does not intend to be just an energy supplier, but an energy partner for customers, helping them optimize their energy ecosystem based on a broad and coherent portfolio of products and services. In addition to competitive offers for customers, it seeks to invest in products and services that stand out for their added value, such as energy efficiency, solar energy solutions, electric mobility, and quality customer support.

The new multimedia campaign is present on radio, social media, digital, billboards, and stores until March 30, with the commercial offer remaining in effect after these dates. The creative concept was created by Nossa, the agency that manages the EDP Comercial account, and the media planning was handled by the media agency Wavemaker.

To take advantage of this new offer, consumers can use the company's usual channels (site en.edp.pt, telephone lines, or EDP Comercial stores and agents across the country).

In 2024, Portuguese consumers elected EDP Comercial as "Recommended Brand" for the fourth consecutive time in the category "Electricity and/or Gas – Large Free Market". This distinction reflects the consistent performance of the company and its commitment to customer satisfaction over the past few years.
