TDX- Assist: secure data between the distributor and the carrier

Objectives

The TDX-Assist project aims to design and develop new methods and tools in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector, in order to facilitate the safe and reliable exchange of data between the transmission system operators and the distribution system operators.

The three new topics to be addressed are: scalability (ability to deal with the new ecosystem and growing volumes of information and data); security (protection against external threats and attacks); and interoperability (exchange of information and communications based on current and emerging ICT standards for smart grids).
On the EDP side, the project is managed by the company EDP Distribuição.
