ERSE announces electricity tariffs for 2017

Pursuant to the terms and for the purposes of the article 17 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council and of the article 248 of the Portuguese Securities code, EDP - Energias de Portugal SA ("EDP") is providing the following information to the market:

The Portuguese Energy Services Regulatory Authority ("ERSE") made public today the final document regarding the "Tariffs and prices for electricity in 2017" in Portugal. The published document does not introduce any material change when compared to the proposal presented by ERSE on last October, 14th. Recall that following the disclosure of this proposal, EDP issued a press release to the market with the relevant numbers and conclusions.
